THE EMERGING VEDIC SUPERMAN

Those who have seen the film Invasion of the Body Snatchers, have an analogy by which to view the Rajneesh transformation. On one day, and up until then, the person next door was an ordinary person.

The next day the body looked virtually the same, except for maybe a few of the mannerisms up close. But suddenly something totally alien has taken residence inside the body and it is now completely disguised. The gulf between how it looks on the outside and what dwells on the inside could not be greater. The new resident has been floating across the galaxies for thousands of years, through unthinkable regions, and its origins go back to a totally alien civilization in a far removed planetary system with totally different laws and thoughts. The original resident has been extinguished, dissolved, digested.

Rajneesh describes it:

“In that explosion, the old man of yesteryear died. This new man is absolutely new. The man who wasRajneesh at Explosion walking on the path is dead and is no more. What is, is a new man altogether ... There is no story after that explosion; there are no events after it. All events are before the explosion. After the explosion there is only void. Whatever was before is not me or mine.”1
